Pretty Much Sums It Up

Yeah, I know. I'll probably lose a reader or... OK, A reader for posting this one.

Found it in a list of classic de-motivational posters, but think maybe it's more motivational:

Sums what up?

You haven't lost me as a reader - but standby as I will defend Christianity when comments like this are made.

When I see photos like this, I'm reminded of 2 verses:

"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Ps 19:1

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." Rom 1:20

As a parting shot, I offer the opinion that National Atheists Day should be April 1st...see Ps 53:1.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that. But it does point out one of my shortcomings - I'll issue summations without preceding it with explanation. It was more a comment on the idea of getting all dressed up to prove that one is human. It all stems from an Ann Landers or Dear Abby of many years ago that had a gossipy woman in one community who was complaining about a known-promiscuous resident showing up at church. "How dare she! The nerve!" It was Abby or Ann who reminded the gossip that church isn't a popularity contest, it's a place for sinners. And as the "demotivational" poster suggests, sinner equals human. Actually, I consider myself more Agnostic than Atheist. None of "this" could have happened by accident.
